A little more authentic way of life in Kyoto;
Discover the real Japan at Rinn
Rinn Hachijo Mibu stands in a quiet residential area that is about a 10-minute walk from To-ji Temple, a world heritage site.
Converted from a townhouse built more than 70 years ago, this lodging facility only measures less than 10 tsubo (approx. 356 sq. ft.)
yet has a parlor, verandah, and courtyard, with a narrow structure called "eel bed" unique to townhouses in Kyoto.
You will enjoy the unique warmth and texture of paper lantern lights and wooden furniture handmade by craft workers
using traditional Japanese crafting techniques as well as the luxurious atmosphere.
Experiencing the aspects of the traditional Japanese lifestyle such as pulling futon out of the closet and
spreading it on the tatami floor to sleep and folding it to put it back in the closet
after getting up is one of the pleasures of staying at this facility.
