Rinn Premium Machiya Townhouse Kyoto Shichijo I, II, and III are three two-storied traditional machiya ( which means Japanese townhouse), renovated from very historic houses used to the local people's home.
You can feel the stream of time and the depth of Japanese culture from the log beams and Takeko Mai (clay wall on bamboo lathing) preserved as what they were in this renovated house.
The surrounding area is a quiet residential area in Kyoto city. You can enjoy the light leaking from the Shoji (a paper sliding door), relax on the tatami mats, feel the beauty of seasons from the green in the garden and enjoy the time that flows quietly.
