Reflecting on the Dreams of Ancient Kyoto
Just a 3-minute walk from the "Kiyomizumichi" bus stop (Kyoto City Bus),
Rinn Yumemizaka Yumeko is a private rental home located in one of Kyoto’s most atmospheric neighborhoods—
with a beautiful view of the iconic Yasaka Pagoda.
The stone-paved slope leading up to the pagoda is called “Yumemizaka.”
According to legend, Prince Shotoku once dreamed that Kyoto would again become Japan’s capital
and built Hokan-ji Temple here in that vision.
Inside the house, large windows let in soft sunlight and offer a direct view of Yasaka Pagoda —
an ideal spot to relax and take in the view.
Take your time, unwind, and imagine the dreams that once breathed life into ancient Kyoto.
