At our accommodation, in consideration of environmental sustainability and to maintain a comfortable stay, we provide complimentary light cleaning once every three days during your stay.

In addition to this, we offer optional in-stay cleaning services for an additional fee upon request. Please note that we have revised the pricing for this paid cleaning service for Kyomachiya and Premium Machiya–type accommodations only.

For Kyomachiya and Premium Machiya–type accommodations, we carry out cleaning that requires a high level of expertise and time in order to carefully maintain the character and materials of these historic buildings while tending to the entire house.
In recent years, labor costs for cleaning staff, as well as prices for linens and cleaning supplies, have continued to rise. In order to maintain our established standards of quality, we have made the unavoidable decision to revise our pricing.

Previous Fee: JPY 8,800 (tax included)
Revised Fee: JPY 16,500 (tax included)
Effective Date: For stays with check-in on or after January 1, 2026

Notice Regarding In-Stay Cleaning Services

Please note that there will be no change to the in-stay cleaning fees for hotel-type properties.
In addition, the complimentary light cleaning service provided once every three days will continue to be offered free of charge, as before.

While we sincerely regret any inconvenience this revision may cause, we kindly ask for your understanding as part of our ongoing efforts to preserve the unique character of traditional machiya properties and to maintain a comfortable and high-quality stay environment for our guests.
