We have been informed that guests who booked through online booking sites such as Booking.com and Agoda have received fraudulent messages by email and through messaging apps such as WhatsApp. Many accommodation providers have reported the same problem.
These messages ask guests to confirm their reservation or to re-enter their credit card details, and they contain links to fake websites (phishing sites) created to steal personal and credit card information.
We will never ask you to enter your credit card details or to make an unexpected payment by email or messaging app.
If you receive such a message, please take the following precautions:
・Never click the link in the message.
・Do not enter your credit card or personal information.
・ If anything seems suspicious, please contact the customer support center of the booking site directly.
We appreciate your understanding and ask that you remain alert to messages of this kind.
